Companies I Like

Like many other companies, starting Fripp Design was inspired by companies that I admire and respect. This page acknowledges there are other great product design companies and participants as well as my own.

Seymour Powell  - A long stayed product design company that follows a similar design ethos as Fripp Design; to make a "better" design is to make it better for the consumer, manufacturer and accountant. essentially design is all about solving real world problems

Marc Newson - A wonderfully simple design language that looks elegant and functions perfectly. Rarely cluttered, Marcs designs convey a playful and clean theme.

Ross Lovegrove - A figurehead in the world of rapid prototyping. Taking inspiration from nature and the "organic form" he breaks the constraints of what is considered normal.

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec 2 French brothers who blur the boundaries of art and useable design.

Zaha Hadid - An inspiring female architect that pushes the boundaries of architecture producing wonderful and exciting designs utilising the latest techniques in computer aided design.

Ron Arad Famed for pushing manufacturing techniques to the limit, combining playful forms and experiments with advanced technologies.
